It doesn't come as a surprise to see a cafe such a Caffe A La Mode, nestled into one of the tiny shopping stripes that sprinkle the Hudson Valley countryside. There are many small, local businesses that thrive in the town of Warwick here, from Christmas Tree Farms to Tea Houses, as well as clothing boutiques, old bookstores, pubs, and gourmet chocolate shops. So, the idea of a cafe being settled into a street corner lot, next to a bike store, doesn't seem that out of the ordinary.

But, as all customers come to know of Caffe A La Mode, this self-proclaimed Coffee Club, is so much more than just another spot to stop to enjoy a caffeinated beverage.
Men and women come from near and far to enjoy the unique atmosphere and food selection that resides in Caffe A La Mode's brick laden walls. Long-time repeat quests Kelsey Norton and Nataly Hurtado, aren't daily regulars, like so many of the other men, women, and families who gather around the dinning room. But, they are long term best friends, who not only like to travel together, but try new food and drink together as well.

"I first visited Caffee A La Mode a few years back, when I was still in college. I had come up with a group of friends from Virginia, and we were hungry after a day full of exploring the town, so we decided to give the cafe a shot," Nataly Said. "I was hooked from that moment on. They've always had such a great selection of food and coffee to choose from! Even for vegetarians like me. Which I have always appreciated." She said.
"We also have always really liked the vibe of the store," Kelsey said, "it has always stayed relatively the same in way of looks and manners, artsy and warm, but also has such a great opening for families as well," She said.
"Yeah, I like how it never really changes," Nataly said, "its consistently good, all the way around."

Like any great cafe, the key to Caffe A La Mode's success lies within its owners Scott Elfant and Tom Torres' love for Warwick, love for coffee, love for food, and overall, their love for community, and cultivating relationship.
These days, especially in New York State, it is especially hard to find local businesses and people, that are so specifically dedicated to craft, culture, and community.
And according to the Daily Voice writer Joe Jenkins article Caffe A La Mode Brews Up Nothing But Love For Warwick, the momentum this coffee house has picked up, has no plans of slowing down.
Coffee, culture, and community prevail again, as two men and their loyal crew, make it their personal mission to serve a community to the fullest, with every cup-of-joe served.
